Mark “the Beast” Epstein, London Shoot’s Cage Rage light-heavyweight champion lost his title against UK mixed martial art legend Ian “the Machine” Freeman in a gruelling three round war at Cage Rage 18: Battleground.
The judges gave a well earned decision to “The Machine” who although rocked in the first round from a blistering punch by Mark, went on to win the rounds with takedowns and his well known ground and pound. Mark fought well and showed as always he has the heart of a champ but was unable to fight off Freeman who had his sights fully set on Mark’s belt.
Congratulations to Ian and commiserations to Mark. The Beast though is already training for his next fight and definitely wants his belt back.
