London Shootfighters had another great showing at Ultimate Challenge: Resurrection on Febuary the 6th, at its usual home the Troxy in east London.
Welterweight stand out and London Shootfighters BJJ coach Alberto Mina defended his title against the very tough Rough House fighter Dean Amasinger. After a back and forth first 2 rounds which saw some excellent striking exchanges and Alberto constantly threatening whenever the fight got to the ground, London Shoot's grappling sensation got an excellent single leg take down which he quickly converted into some devastating ground and pound to secure the TKO victory.
Alberto's undefeated record now stands at 8-0 and he is looking forward to his next challenge.
Meanwhile earlier on the card heavyweight London Shootfighter Karlos Vermola made short of work of his opponent quickly picking him up and slamming him into the canvass and unleashing a brutal barrage of strikes from top position that forced the referee to step in and call a halt to the nout.
The match was Karlos's first under London Shootfighters and showcased some of the excellent work he's been doing in training. Defeating Peter Yendall takes Karlos's record to 7-0 and is soon expected to be challenging for the heavyweight title
